diablo 2 account trading is riskier than most users even comprehend it to be. i'm sure you can tell this just by looking at the first 2 pages of the S/A forum.
double registration, hidden registration. hiding on account until user logs off.
there is nothing safe about account trading on diablo 2. even if someone can keep an account for an extended use of time, it can be swiped back at will of the seller.

it's nearly impossible to prove any type of scam done with this as well. have we not watched users be exploited over d2 accounts long enough?

I believe that if someone didnt want to take a risk of getting scammed, they would train their own account. Every individual who buys an account knows that there are risks to doing so.

Honestly I have bought multiple characters and never once had an issue.

Nope, its okay imo, you can also get scammed during normal trade.
IP selling to get Anni is way more risky and bring more problems than account trading
