So apparently my original thread (
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=76277610&f=258) was closed of excessive off topic posts (where?) and didn't include a suggestion (what about me suggesting in 1-2 hours?)
anyway, lets see what reason they find to close this one:
Suggestion:
Review current process and implement a new process for locking scammers, max timeframe for lock from when a topic is posted with sufficient evidence - 2 hours.
Reasoning:To many people get away with scamming multiple users as the current process is inadequate and takes too long, thus providing the scammer with more opportunity to scam additional users
Rationale, and a bit of background to lead me to this:So I am fed up of watching the s/a forum and seeing how long it takes to lock scammers...
What is the excuse/delay, if its staff shortage, get more, I'm sure there are plenty of worthy candidates who would help.
This site is simply advocating scamming by taking literally weeks to lock people who have clearly scammed tons of people all with sufficient and adequate proof...
FG has real $ value whether you like to admit it or not, so scamming FG is stealing money from people, how would people react if someone went around stealing off people in the street, tons of people reported it to the police and they were like, yeah we will look into it when we can in like 2 weeks all the time there are more and more victims coming forward...
Locking should be max 1-2hours after a s/a is posted with sufficient proof, and whilst we are at it, stop giving everyone 100 chances.
So many times there's a clear loan scam but the person just logs off and you wait until they come back to give them a chance... or PM them to await a response thus giving them more opportunity to scam more before they are eventually locked..
If the loan terms are clear there is no excuse for it, if they log off for a long period and don't communicate beforehand the reasons/request additional time etc. then lock them... simple.
Also whilst we are at it, maybe review the unlocking process as well, just as protracted and it seems as if rarely if ever do the people scammed received anything back, all just profit to the site I assume..
