Just thought about this idea...

I suggest there be a feature where you can store your fg privately so that people don't always know exactly how much fg you have. This can be nice for reputation-related and aesthetic reasons.

If somebody has a million fg, maybe they want to flaunt it, but maybe they want it hidden to avoid the risk of people trying to steal their account or being targetted for it in general. It could even be for as benign a reason as not having to get PMs all the time begging for donations, or so as not to attract attention and whatnot. Perhaps there are even more reasons people might have.

Also, one could also have the option of automatically receiving fg in their private stash rather than public, because aside from the above reasons, some people are perfectionists and don't want their 'perfect number' blemished by an arbitrary decimal. (Example: someone with 10,000.00 fg receiving <1 fg at least once a week)

And, if you ask me, moderators should be able to view a user's private stash/gold log for obvious scam-related reasons.

A big benefit of this is that it also fights the MULTI STIGMA. Some people want this feature so bad, or want to hide their fg, that they'll just make a multi to put their extra gold in.
The private stash feature would inhibit this occurrence.

Going to vote no, my primary reason being people bidding FG they claim they have in their storage.
Not to mention
A ) the load it would take
B ) the amount of coding needed to allow instantaneous transfers
C ) overall uselessness of the idea - if somebody has 50000fg, it should show 50000. It would promote begging in a minimal sense as well.

This really contributes nothing to the site - really, this is useless.

No. The site has rules against bidding FG you do not have. With this, you would have people making troll bids and having no way to check the legitimacy. It would harm commerce.
