While it would be incredibly useful to a lot of users, there's debate on the development end I do believe. Paul does not wish to have others create the app for him, since it wouldn't be his code and judging by him creating his own forum software for his forum, I doubt he'd want someone else's code for the application. Because of this I don't believe Paul wants others creating it for him. So that covers the argument of "others have offered to do this for free". As for functionality, I, along with many other users can agree that the site works just fine from our mobile devices, so it is not needed.

Well I can use many sites without the mobile but a mobile site makes it way easier.... I have trouble choosing subforums on my phone as Well as selecting certain links such as my profile vs forum main page. Plus notifications Don't work on mobile. Great idea imo
I've circumvented the "missclicking" by double-tapping next to the sub-forum on the background, that way I am zoomed in and I can have a more accurate tap. Then again, I use the iPhone. Not sure how Droids and other smartphones function in the zooming aspect of things, so I cannot comment on those. Also, I use the Big Font default theme, so that might be a slight contribution to my ease of access from my phone.
My post currently is addressing matters brought up in one of the last threads, so you can find the rest of my argument here:
