I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, I've tried to upload a pic to photobucket, tinypic, and imageshack and I'm trying all of the provided links to post the pic on a forum post.

yet, as you can see, it does not post a pic. What am I doing wrong?

Everything you are doing is fine.

The issue is that you need 15 posts to enable bbcodes.

Try again after awhile when you gain that much posts.
