Why is it that when you log off you are still show online for 15 to 30 minutes.
This wasn't a huge issue before but with d3 out the number of players on d2 has dropped significantly. Specially on hardcore.
If it can be made that when you log out that you are actually shown to be offline then that would be great.
Waiting around to trade with someone that is already logged off but you think they are afk playing d2 just plain sucks.

it takes 20 minutes and its because people go IDLE on jsp all te time, and may show up anytime.

so its best to see they are still online for those 20 minutes so you dont LOG off because they are offline.

You can be logged on the forums idle for days and not be active but still showing online. Thats all covered with the "Last Seen" column.
I am talking about people that logged off the site.
If they logged off I want to know about it. Sure if are logged off but were last seen 5 minutes ago I may stick around and see if they log back on again but I dont want it to show that they still logged on if they are really logged off.

i simply exit out of the browser but am always logged in.

and its the same as idle for me because i clsoe my browser all the time when iw ait for trades and jus treopen it in a few minutes.

I think your 99% estimate is about off as you can get.
Why would you close down your browser if your waiting on trades?
I always put in fg amount and description on trades I am buying and refreshing browser every minute on trades I am selling and buying on.
