I nulled my vote because I have never had issues on my mobile. My guess is you simply went too fast for the mobile server to comply with your request. Until more people start seeing similar problems as this, I don't believe it's worth the time to change the website's coding just so it's more compatible with a certain cell carrier.

The button's use is to open up the Fast Reply field, I don't think the outer button's purpose is to actually add the reply, but to open up the text field. The inner reply buttons are to submit the message. I see what you're saying though, besides opening the Fast Reply, there's no other functionality to the outer button. But note that on PC, the outer Add Reply button doesn't add the reply either, not just the Mobile.

I've voted yes, on the condition that once you click the outer Add Reply button, the button disappears from view. Since the button serves no other purpose but to open the Fast Reply field.
