A successful trade is essential and the foundation of our great community. However, I think we could further expand on determining a great trader. While most trades are done in a 2/3 rule fashion, I believe we should start rep points, and where a buyer rep could rep the seller after a successful trade. Somewhat like what Amazon and *** users refer to before making a purchase. I think this can help our community even further in providing a successful trade.

While this feature can be abused by users, as well as many other great feature, I believe there should be a limit to reps per day. Perhaps 2-4 reps that are available per day for users.

This would also not only weed out any abuse of the system but also increase the use of FG on the website?

This is why it won't happen. People would upvote friends, and it would encourage people to make multiple accounts to upvote themselves, or friends. It wouldn't really be a trust system, but a 'who has the most friends who will upvote them" system. People would also downvote people as traders because they disagreed with them on a completely unrelated issue. For that reason, this has been denied in the past. Sorry.

Then the various people would just send a small amount of fg, or even a large amount back and forth. It would be basically the same. People would even make fake trade threads if they have to, and it would be a waste of time for the moderators to check every user's gold logs for abuses.

If there was a way to make it work, it might be implemented, but there are just too many ways to get around it.
