I love the concept, but this site (If you ask me, is not secure enough at all)

- It's okay they/you allow freedom for the users, but this is also the reason for all the scammers in here.

I've lost 14,138 gold in total due to a scammer. Is the reversable? No. Why not? Well don't ask me, I'm just curious how they could ban him due to scam done towards me, but not reverse all the stolen money. I wrote instantly after the scam was done, it took this site two hole days to figure this out, while this guy managed to transfer all his fg to some other account I don't know about. For god sake we're talking about real money, 370$ to be exact.

I'm an old eve online player. I tried to be scammed in there, they atleast fixed it by transfering the money back and put the player on a lifetime ban.

if you get scammed its your own fault period. jsp has mediators for every possible legal transaction and if you don't use them then you only have yourself to blame.

Mediators are available on the site for this very reason, and it's encouraged that you use a Mediator for every trade. It is your own choice to trade without a Mediator, and d2jsp is not responsible for the scam, the scammer happens to be the one responsible. Therefore, the scammer is solely responsible for repaying their scam. d2jsp cannot force the user to repay, and they won't take the FG from them.

Even the best can get scammed f.y.i. My point was not how it happened or what happened, but it was the things that could have been done after.

If it was my own fault or not, that I got scammed, I won't get into that, but that it takes two days to ban the account, and that they don't have any possible way to back transfer the gold (due to the reason that I did'nt get the things I was buying) That's just not secure enough, and frankly it's not good enough. Every 'larger' firm inside the gaming industry has rules against scamming that allows them to interact quick and reverse the sale, I can't see why its the problem here? I really have to wait and wait for a third party? Of course you can to be more secure, but it won't secure you if you get scammed even if you use a meditator? The Meditator could be part of the scam maybe, you never know, and even then you won't get your gold returned?

Here's an idea/suggestion: If they allowed them self to instant block a person while they investigate the case, this would make sure the money stays in one place. The person being blocked can be annoyed, but thats all. And if they allow themselves to return stolen/scammed gold, this would make sure no one would scam. It's like no one is going to break in the White House, why? Well cause its so good protected. Games like Eve-Online etc. still have hackers/scammers even with a bulletproved system, but this makes sure that a hacker/scammer won't succeed with what they tried to do 'illegally'.

You can agree with me or not, I do not care, but I do belive that the majority in here would agree on my statement. I have played a lot of games, been scammed several of times, yes I do still do trades though I know people scams (I just stay more secure, copying everything etc.)

Actually no the best get mediators....no scamming invovled.

*Beacon* They are not responsible for the scam, true. But they are responsible for the lousy response time on a scam report. If you read the above you will get a understanding of my full opinion about how it should work. If someone gets scammed, and have some kind of prove the person who are a suspect, should be banned. In my case, the person had two-three days to transfer the gold away and he got banned with this amount of gold: has 88.00 Forum Gold, out of 14,138. Sorry to say, that is not good enough.

Do d2jsp then reimburse the money a meditator cost to use? Or do they have a background check so they are hundred procent sure of who they are allowing to represent them, so its not just a scammer waiting for a big fish to frie? Simple questions.

Edit: If money aren't returned I can only conclude this: You are having other people pay a third part to make sure your site is a little more secure? I would rather have you took a good read on my suggestion instead of posting the same as the two other guys. Sorry to say.

*Blue, if you would listen, instead of living in the fantasy world, as the other guys in here, you will see I am not talking about the scam itself, but the low security: The methods used to prevent scams, the slow response time etc. Suck it up and listen?

i did read. you expect too much and thats the whole issue. You want a better security yet you don't realize this wouildn't have happened if you just used a med- and yes, meds are not 100% trustable 100% of the time, but you just have to go with it because thats life and you if you can't then this isnt the place for you. IT takes a long time to ban because they need to make sure and confirm the accusations and not just instalock. Suck it up and deal with it
