Since the release of Diablo 3 Scams have been happening more and more which isn't unusual when new games come out. I find it troubling when I see multiple topics of one person scamming multiple people.
When Posting an accusation it takes time to gather all the evidence and then get reviewed during this time the scammers have enough time to scam a few more people and then xfer the gold or buy up as much as they can before they are locked.
Currently when someone scams a person that person will post on every topic that person has made calling him a scammer and posting links to the accusation.
So what I am suggesting is when someone post a scammer accusation the person who did the scamming should have a temp lock if their is enough evidence for one
Example of evidence needed
The topic in which the trade went down in
In game confirmation of names and items being traded
Trade screen of item
I believe these to be the 3 keys when reporting someone and if you can provide the 3 the person who has done the scam should get a temp lock. So he cannot transfer or spend any of the scammed gold.
In regards to people posting false accusations their should be punishment as well maybe a nice 30-50% warn because falsely reporting someone and then they get a tag until the staff figures out if they did the scam or not can break alot of peoples trust in that person and bring down that persons reputation they have built for them selfs.
