On occasions, a completely "innocent" user completes a trade only to receives fg that was originally obtained through "illegal means" (scam, paypal charge back, etc.)
This forum gold is promptly reclaimed by the forum bank, leaving the otherwise innocent user at a loss; he traded his items but in practice receives nothing in return since his fg is taken by the bank.

I suggest that users who experience losses in this manner should be compensated.
For example, D2jsp could offers users "store credit" equal to the amount of fg that has been lost, and this credit could be used to purchase site features (orbs, guilds, topic titles) or put towards donation stars.

In my opinion, this is the least D2jsp can do to placate users who have, from their perspective, had their fg stolen by the bank.

Sadly it doesn't work that way.
If you buy a stolen TV, they can reclaim it and you get nothing back.

Im not saying your idea is bad, it's just that it will never happen :/

Point taken.
Although I would argue it's largely irrelevant; D2jsp is not a microcosm of the "real world," and need not follow its example.
