I am proposing that D2jsp needs a new or improved scammer accusation system. I just reported someone for attempting to sell unperms as perm, and as you can see in the thread -- it is plenty enough proof that he was attempting to.

Nothing will happen to him at all? I always take every precaution when I trade (verify history with previous owners, check their item versus old screenshots of the item), if I was just some ordinary person who does not do this -- I would have gotten scammed. Is that what JSP wants? Someone to lose hundreds of dollars worth of items before they take action?

There should be either a new tag added, or figure something to do when stuff like this happens. Possibly make a "probation tag" which would aware other members and staff of jsp of this user.

A movement shouldn't be decided upon one personal instance. I think it's effective how it is.

An attempt to scam is not a scam.
The scammer accusations forum is perfect as it is.

the scammer accusation is about facts, not assumptions.
your topic indicates that either your accused is a liar, or the user in the history is liar. who is, we dont know.
a liar is not automatically a scammer.
and the accused lying, doesnt make the item unperm. it might be, it might be not, he might just not have a good history, we dont know.
everything is just based on assumptions.

It has happened many times -- as well as nothing happening to "unperm as perm" sellers.

The item poofing is what makes it unperm. The scammer accusation topic is closed, therefor I cannot add more proof (he admitted to it being unperm when I told him it poofed)
