I would like to suggest the opening up of moderation of the d3 forums to junior mods.

People (I am not 100% innocent) are padding post counts with non-sense and flaming without fear.

I am un-sure if a change was made after the launch of d3, but it has increased a lot in activity and unfortunately the new game has brought out some real trash.
I have no issue with new members, but a bunch really need a good slap on the wrist.

Please consider this change, I like these forums and have for a while... but sometimes the d3 forum is un-bear-able.

This decision if up to the staff. Suggesting this is irrelevant.

Too many users and too little mods.

But nothing can be done about that.

Collect a few posts from a single person and send to mod for something to be done.

Help them help you.

There's a lot of threads made every minutes in the diablo 3 section, simply ignore the ones you think are spam/against any rules and report them using the ''report post'' so they get deal with eventually. In most case the useless topics will simply die in the flow of all the new topics, and if there's spam reply it'll get close eventually.

The problem right now ( IMO) is that a lot of new users joined d2jsp recently due to diablo 3 and are bumping every 2 minutes or breaking rules in some ways due to lack of knowledge of the d2jsp trading rules and doing early repost once their topics are closed. Enforcing the rules or trying to make the rules more visible to new users could be a solution to improve the quality of the section, but that would be something to work out in an other suggestion I guess.

For now there's not much to do, lot of the staff members are playing diablo 3 and well aware of the situation you described, if something has to be done, It'll most likely happen.

ive seen spam threads and such posted before and the correct posts in it reported via the button and nothing is done and the thread keeps going. the report post button is pretty much useless if the people in charge of keeping order dont care enough to check it out.

We appreciate your suggestion, however internal moderation decisions such as this are exclusively dealt with by the senior leadership team members.
