I would love to see a 'Like' button for certain posts, or a 'Respect' button but I think these would be too easily abused. Let's put your money where your mouth is.

My solution is if you really like someone's post or they helped you out with a question, there should be a button in the [Report Post][Quote][Top] section that when clicked would donate 1 fg to that user.

<- Then in your info on the left would be two stats: Respect Given and Respect Earned

There would also be restrictions on how often you could give respect, like once per hour or something.
