Quote (Option 1)
• Add a single check-box in the "Topic Tracker" for a PM Notification, which you will get every time someone who isn't you posts in the thread.
Quote (Option 2)
• Add a single check-box in the "Topic Tracker" for a PM Notification, which you will get only the first time there is a reply to the thread (Other than your own bumps) then you have to check the box again to get another.
Quote (Option 3)
• Add a single check-box in the "Topic Tracker" for a PM Notification, which you will get whenever there is a reply to your thread (Other than your own bumps) and there hasn't been a reply in X amount of time, where X is the bump-rule for that forum (Aka - 4 hours in USEast SCL, 24 hours in Donor Forum).
Quote (Option 4)
• Add three check-boxes in the "Topic Tracker" consisting of the options: "Always" (Option 1), "Once" (Option 2), and "Filter" (Option 3) for PM Notifications, which you will get based on the box that is checked (if any, limited to 1).
Quote (Option 5)
• Add a drop-down box in the "Topic Tracker" consisting of the options: "None", "Always" (Option 1), "Once" (Option 2), and "Filter" (Option 3).
In the background for all options, a few things would be running (to keep this from bogging the server) in the background, such as to make sure you didn't receive more than X notifications per minute, hour, and day. Also, automatically deselecting (Or selecting "None" for O5) when you get a message from the notifier and it is rejected because your inbox is full. This would keep, say a topic getting bumped by a friend/someone who afked/etc that blew up suddenly from bogging down the server with rejected messages.
All of these options would be grayed out, and not become active until the FG button (that would be added) next to the topic is pressed and a gold password is put in, with the transaction rate of 5 FG that lasts as long as that topic stays tracked.
Also, add another check-box for new post under Post Options (Track My Post, Disable Emoticons, etc) for "[ ] Purchase PM Notifications (5 fg)", which when checked automatically checks and locks the "Track My Post" box.
Overall I feel this could be a handy, simple feature that could drain a little extra FG out of the system. Overall, the server load could be kept pretty minimal, and I can't exactly see this being too hard of a feature to implement.
