This rule has prevented any gamblers for using the Donor Forum for what it is truly meant for.



There's nowhere telling you outside of the donor forum about this rule to my knowledge. People who have bet infrequently can pay the outrageous price to get into the donor forum and find out they can't even use there FG for real life goods. Sure this site is for Diablo, but people playing runescape can still fully use the donor forum. If there are rules like this it should be posted somewhere so people don't make the mistake of blindly joining the donor forum. I guarantee there are multis in the Donor Forum right now buying real life items with there FG. Why can't bettors or raffle winners use the donor forum though. We all started somewhere with our fg and that somewhere is Diablo. So what if we branched off and gambled on sports games with our fg. Why take the donor forum privilege away from us? When I tried to use the Donor Forum myself I was told that I would have to get rid of all my FG that I used to gamble, which to them is all of it even though I got a lot from signatures, and then on top of it I had to wait 6 months without betting. Why are we forced to give up betting to use the Donor Forum, betting isn't illegal on JSP, it's just not supported. You have even allowed us to attach a betting status to JSP and gave us our own Sports Coliseum, what did you expect it to be used for? Are we not good enough to use the Donor Forum. I say if you pay to get in you should be able to fully use it unless your a scammer or a multi.

That's all I have to say and I hope you guys agree with me so we can get this rule changed because I myself would love to use the donor forum to purchase real life goods.

It will cause more people to attempt to scam in the BNP section. The rule is there to protect people.

Just my two cents.

That's what bettor status and poker status is for though. If they scam they can't bet anymore. Would get rid of more bad seeds. Plus moderators check history and such on people before making real life transactions. If someone is scamming in poker and causing problems they could just deny them.

This needed becouse d2jsp does not support betting / gambling on the site. Therefore you can't use fg gained from it.
But, once Lajo told me if i wait 6 months without gambling / betting, i can use my forum gold to bid on RLT forums.

No. the rule is fine as it is atm.

REMEMBER!! As a poker bettor/gambler you are still allowed to sell rl items in RLT forum in DF, and then buy something else with that fg. You cannot use your gambled fg, it must still remain on your account during RLT trade(s).

If people gamble with a currency and use the currency to buy things in real life there are some legal ramifications that d2jsp will have to deal with.

As much as I would want to agree with you, I can't solely because of the following below:

Isn't it illegal to sports bet for money though. Wouldn't that just be technically trading points for items still?
