Seeing how signatures are not hosted by d2jsp I propose to increase the size limit to maybe 100 - 150kb. We are in 2012 and that shouldn't be a problem for anyone's bandwidth. Please take this into consideration and thank you.

The kb limit is fine.

Anything higher will only mean there will be more ugly gifs anyhow.

eh I am not a fan of animated signatures myself, but you can get higher quality signatures by simply using .png format instead of .jpg..

You can have PNG file sigs under 70kb no problem
Just use less colors or make em smaller

small colorless sigs doesn't look very good imo

Yes, this is 2012, and more and more people are using their phones to browse the site, which is all the more reason to keep the limit, and why this site performs so well, even on mobile devices!
