This site needs more active mediators, as some come and go as they please.
I have had an issue with another member on this site, and the mediator helping me is online less than 5 times a month.

We need more active site staff to help make this site a cleaner place!
I suggest making an application tab for active members can sign up to be part of the jsp staff!

I believe this has been suggested many times before and denied
The jsp staff is chosen very carefully by njaguar and/or Kevin, I think
If there were such an application tab, pretty much anyone would sign up and that'll give Mods a much harder time and more work going through each person
They aren't getting paid or anything to be staff, they're volunteering so yea, they can come and go
You just need to be patient

We all know that, but it isn't going to change
People are picked carefully and Mods probably watch everyone already (all the posts they make, all the warns they've gotten, etc)
Which is how they decide who gets to be in staff

Then give us the ability to Sign up to volunteer? Create your own kind of spreadsheet to show how much you have volunteered, proof of people you've helped and maybe let them review it?
Im not sure, i just believe a site of this size is understaffed.

Any one can become a tagged user if they wish. It does take a lot of hard work and dedication. While activity may be a factor, it's not the only one.

No, you can't sign up for a tag. With that said, there are plenty of oppertunities throughout the site. You don't have to be tagged to volunteer / help
