I have often had a big trade thread to keep coming back and the items were not updated and a new thread was either made or in the process. this would keep the freshest of threads at the top of the first page.

Also some times i had multipe answers on a quick one or two item trade thread by deleting it i could spare others thread from getting puched off the first page and keep me from saying i dont need items anymore.

The reason being that it would be much easier for scammers to delete proof from topics, and people would abuse it.
