I notice when i have (1 new) message, I click no Messages, I click on the message, and as I'm reading the message the "Messages (1 new)" hasn't recognized that the message I'm reading is read. please fix this.

did you try refreshing the page? f5

did you try deleting your cookies/cache?
what browser are you using?

Dude. It's a simple error. The whole point is the site should update on USE of the msg that there is no longer new messages. Soon as i refresh ya its ok but the point is shouldn't NEED to do such a thing when it can be updated on first use of the msg.

This is intentional. For instance, if you had multiple new messages, and viewed only the latest, it would reset the new message counter before you had a chance (potentially) to see how many were new.
