Hello. I am new to d2jsp, and recently made my first bit of fg, however, now that i'm trying to spend it i can't seem to get the Send Gold link to work. I have clicked the option to always show the Give Gold Section, but it literally does nothing for me. I am using Mozilla Firefox, and have tried it with internet explorer, but nothing seems to help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated..

Try deleting your browsing history/remove your cookies

Noted. Sorry about the off-topic post.
However, the problem remains, i have cleared browser history and cookies, yet still no send gold option.

click on someones name who is in your gold logs, then click it
i bet it will change

u can also click on the next to their gold

No problem we all make mistakes.

Are you making sure you click these words "Open Send Gold Form". when in the transaction page?

If you haven't you can click the words "Give Gold link not working? Click Here to Always Show the Give Gold Section" you can check and see if this will make it work for you.
