Do not trade accounts, characters, or names. (Exceptions: Eve Online, Diablo II)

It's completely fine and allowed. Why does it bother you?

its just annoying. look at useast. its always being spammed and filling up list

it was against rules before and it has just changed, so i think it will not change back soon.

This has only been a recent change; for years, at least before I came, it has been against the rules. It's not likely to change back, I'm afraid.

I personally don't see a problem with laughing at what other people think are good names.

I realize there may be differing opinions on what classifies as a good name but people have been trying to sell junk items for years.

Those who are not interested in names don't have to buy or sell them.

They serve a purpose and there is a market. I see no legitimate reason name trades shouldn't be legal.
