I find it annoying that once my trade threads get closed because of 60post limit that I cannot quote posts in my thread. Would be nice if I could quote old vouches or even just old posts.

i agree most of the time after a post is closed for 60+ replys i will repost and it can be very annoying to have to redo all the colors font etc

use this code to retrieve the lost information (put this in the URL and press enter in your topic)
javascript:dq(post #);

you can find the post # if you click the number on the left side of the post
example, your post would be http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=56670005&f=258&p=378851163

so type javascript:dq(378851163);

try it on a closed thread like this one:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=24548655&f=258

post # = http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=24548655&f=258&p=144096700

so put in the URL:
javascript:dq(144096700);

then copy/paste the message

enjoy and have fun :)

Thanks for posting a way to get around this, but it still seems to me like this would be pretty easy to change so I didn't have to lol.

Not at any second obviously... I'm just saying it seems it would relatively simple to change and it should be done at some point imo.

Just have it so we can quote posts in closed threads. Wouldn't allow us to post it obviously...Just bring it up as it normally would when you click quote so you can copy/paste it.

For me, planning ahead could avoid this problem. Before posting an iso or ft thread, copy/paste on to a notepad (save the notepad for future use).

It makes life a whole lot easier with little to no changes necessary.

This.

I use this all the time; before posting i just copy/paste in to the notepad section under settings.
