How about anniversary stars?

To make it a little longer, begin with five years. Maybe a special badge/Coat of Armor-like symbol opens up.
Another for eight years or at ten years.

I think every 3 years is a sick increment. Also, must not be locked/tagged or whatever, and must already have 1 star (whether it be the lowest or highest star) to be eligible for the anniversary star
