Path of exile is a action rpg, set in a dark fantasy universe much like diablo 1 and 2. There are 3 acts upon release (more so in future updates). randomly generated maps, randomly generated drops, Normal, Magic, And Unique items. Town portals, Normal,Hardcore,IronMan,Cut-Throat,Attrition modes. Guess what? no gold, randomly generated item drops as a currency as in diablo. And instead of Ladder they are calling it "Leauges"

What they essentially have done is played many online rpgs, and implemented the best features into this game. Undeniably the game most resembles Diablo. this game needs its own forum, and im more excited about this than Diab-craft.
