Currently forum violations are responded to with verbal warnings and when excessive with an official warn.

I propose add a "fine" with the 10% warn. I am not saying fine every violation or fine during verbal warnings.

Only when a user receives a % warn, they should also be fined (maybe fines increase as warns increase?)

In general, the people that excessively flame and break rules on a common bases normally don't have forum gold. In my opinion, the current warn system is sufficient enough.

Like they stole it and spent some somewhere so when an admin took it from them, they also took more than they had
Could be like that if you have no FG, it'll just go negative and while you're making more, whatever you didn't pay (negative amount), goes to the forum bank or w/e

I don't think this is going to happen.

personally, i think that it could be a valid idea for those who have fg and just make the penalty equal to the percent of the warn...if i read/understood rules correctly, a 100% warn=account deletion anyway so at 10% warn, take 10% of their fg, rounded to nearest whole number.

imagine someone with 100k fg gets a warn for something small
10k fg gone?
now compare to some random person who spams and loses only 2fg
is that fair?

edit: overall I'm going to have to say no however. I do believe warns should be given out more frequently however. It is what it is a WARNING. No need for verbal warnings in my opinion.

What about giving negative fg to those who have none? that way they will have to earn even more to buy anything...

and fines should be flat fee, it doesn't make sense to stagger them based on how much fg the use has.

and if you are in the negative fg maybe X day suspension?
