When I mean by editing your posts, I mean by having an unlimited time to do so.


This would possibly get rid of some spamming of some sorts, that way for example, people can edit a large for trade list rather than reposting after a trade is finished and causing more spam. Because there are a number of people on trading forums that sometimes question on a large trade list whether items are still there or not since some people don't want to get in trouble for the spam policy and having their thread closed.


Since the RLT in donor forum, and a lot of other trading forums are used within this site, I think it would decrease the spamming here amount by a decent amount.


I dont know whether this has been asked of yet or not, but I decided that I should just talk about this and see if it could come to a logical conclusion whether this would be useful or not.

No. Members are only allowed to edit their posts for up to 30 minutes to reduce scamming. Its too much of a security liability.
