First off, sorry if this has already been recommended. I'm just starting to get the Site Suggestions and haven't been around long enough to see if it's already been suggested.

Quite simply, I think it would be very helpful if you received a PM every time one of your posts was responded to. This would simplify trading immensely and take away the need to PM everyone that expresses interest in on of your items, makes an offer on one of your items, or accepts an offer on one of your items. Obviously, it could get a bit excessive depending on where your posting so it would have an on/off toggle similar to the one for receiving FG. I also think it would be good to have it set so that you do not get a PM just for responding to a thread, but only to later posts with the thread.

sry, but I think that would fill pm boxes in speed of light. Not to mention site load.

I think if the default was off then it would greatly reduce the likelihood of people having it on unknowingly. It could even be simply a box you mark (similar to tracking) on the thread itself when you post.
Edit: If it was simply toggled on post, the plethora of posts that you made where you didn't want it would be completely null.

That's a pretty horrible idea. That would absolutely destroy the server resources. Each post will effectively be 2 posts (PM is similar to a post SQL wise). Absolutely not.
