in the last 24 hours alone.

i've seen two blatant nudity ( fisting in particular ) images posted, and these threads have lasted at minimum two pages of replies.
obviously reported.

i reported them myself to a number of online junior mods etc

only chappy replied with 'can't close =( only mod +'

my suggestion is, promote chappy and others alike. because having only X number of people capable of locking a thread from viewers is negligence

*not the most formal suggestion but i think yall get my jist*
and alternatives are welcome. maybe like whichever online mod, can be granted that capability

No from me. People are promoted on there actions around the forum and following the rules along with being very helpful. Promoting someone just "cause" is not the way to go. I do agree about the nudity pictures.. I have reported them before and they stayed up for an hour or more and hit page 2-3.

Voted yes, cause obvious reasons.

Promotions come in time. Rome wasn't built in a day. If you see porn and it doesn't say "led by:xxxxx" underneath-- its led by mod+ so pm one of them as fast as you can.

I just don't understand how there can be a 4 hour timeframe where there was no mod online with the capability to lock the thread......

Believe me I'm not trying to make a case for a promotion in his name. I do agree he's awesome.

I'm saying if there's mods online, regardless of level, some topics need closing ASAP and cannot endure until the eligible mods come online

Chappy is not capable of handling porn in certain forums that are left to moderators and higher, some forums just require more expertise.

i do agree. they need more staff members honestly to improve. The staff to users online ratio is pretty bad but it is not my place to say anything. THIS suggestions most likely will NOT get approved anytime soon as im pretty sure paul wants only a certain amount of staff members tbh.

I'm under the impression my suggestion came off the wrong foot, given the majority of the feedback.

More than anything, IF there is a Moderator online ( regardless of level, ) at least one should have the ability/authority to close/lock a thread of certain nature.



I realize this. But I don't think it takes a certain level of expertise to decipher blatant pornographic posts that need adamant closing.

I'm not saying we need more Moderators + staff members ( sure that might help, ) or even that we necessarily need to promote the more active ones ( yes that could probably also aleviate some of these issues. )

But more than anything, if there's 10 Mods online and not even ONE of them has the ability to lock a thread with porn in it, simply because 'it's not their sub-forum' is a bit ludicrous... lol

I guess, maybe Paul is reluctant to offer more authorative capabilities like this, because it's often abused? That would be my only guess.
