I would like to propose to add an Events button next to the new "Trade/Service/Price Check" trade layout and make it "Trade/Service or Event/Price Check" or "Trade/Service/Price Check/Event."
I think this suggestion would be helpful is, to bring a side of the D2JSP community that is rarely visited a little more attention and to grow the community of players that actually play Diablo 2 for fun together.
Recently there has been a group of people doing Iron Man competitions in USWest Ladder that have been shut down because they have violated the rules in posting their event where people can see it and have it brought to their attention. I have participated in these Iron Mans and know that without the posting in the Trades forums, at least one JSPer would not know about or enjoy these Iron Man competitions. I can see how there are not too many events checked on a regular basis, but I ask that you allow the people that do want to bring the community together a greater chance and bring them out of the mazes of unvisited JSP areas.
Another reason having Events in the open is beneficial to the JSP community is to bring players that have become too serious about Diablo 2 a chance to join the less serious sides of Diablo 2 and hopefully figure out why they are still playing the game other than the addiction or preparing for Diablo 3.
