The current link of a d2jsp user looks like this: http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=747294 (this is the link of my profile).
So we all got ID numbers (mine is: 747294 ) after the " = ". I think it would be way easier to seach for users if this was changed. In my idea, the numbers should rather be the name of the user so for example mine would look like this:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=Epiphone
This way people could seach users way easier. There's no drawback of the idea in my view.

How is typing their name in the address bar anymore useful than the address book?

It still gives you the same link and you would need to know their entire jsp name anyway

It's way faster and when the address book fills up with names, it takes a lot of time to search the certain user you're looking for (in add you have to care for your address book if you want to keep it "clean").
