User should have the rights to edit their first post in a topic w/o time limit !
ONLY their FIRST post in their new topic!

I know it wouldn't be good to let them edit everything as long as they want, that's why "only the first post"

Would help much:

Ladder slasher trading ( Topics there are 20+ pages sometimes and it's hard to follow if the items are sold or not )

Personal blocks ( We have to pay 25 fg to delete them, so editing the first as long as we wish would be cool )

Off topics ( 20 pages + hard to follow )

This would merge down like 5% of the posts i think ^_^

This has been suggested a lot of times, and denied. Usually the response is make an image and update it.

However, with the new FT ISO and service tabs, I could see reason for this being included on the service tab: They're already at your own risk and if each person had one thread for their services it would cut down on the volume of threads around, just have everybody check the first post for the next rush or whatever, etc.

I'll vote yes.

Would make scamming easier because users could just edit an item out of their initial post and say they were never actually selling the item.

I completely disagree. I would love for the first post to have no time restrictions on editing.

As a buyer, when I buy something of high value I screen shot the post saying im buying, the sellers post of what he is selling, and the pm confirming game or w/e.

99% of scam on JSP can be prevented if *buyers* are smart.

This would help on a few of my d2 threads.

You pay the fg to bold and color it, yet if the price on something changes that thread is all but dead.

I think overall it would have more positives then negatives.

Buyers should simply read stickies and use a MM if they arent comfortable losing the ammount of fg they are *risking* each time they make a buy.
