I recently ran into a problem where I wanted to edit my post, but I wasn't allowed to. I didn't want to double post as to get unlocked I need to follow the rules etc.

I love this idea

Paul specifically changed this very recently so that users with 50%+ warn/locked cannot edit posts. Increased incentive to follow the rules etc, and to actually think about what they are posting before posting.

for users over 50% this also ties in with increased flood control.
