I think it would be a good idea to increase the time limit on post editing. There have been numerous times when I have created a topic for an item then during posting the stats I missed something. Then when I realized what I had missed, it was to late to change and I had to wait 4 hours to add the stats. I think this would help with trading. Everyone vote :)

Voted no, sorry.

The reason it's only 30 minutes for regular members is to prevent scams/ people editing their topics after a trade has already occured.

Only the mod team should have an extended edit time.

Oh I completely understand. I'd like it to be higher as well but the security issue outweighs the convenience issue.

:)

That fact is a fake though, 30 minutes is a long time to edit shit and do scams.
So we could have it like 2 hours instead or something. Or like just a few mins so you could not scam.

Also its not only about doing scams or not, its about power, mods want power, cause normal users could be able to edit posts in OTHER forums than trade forums for very long time, or forever where you cant scam cause its not a trade forum.
But it isnt like that, and thats because of power.

And also even in trade forums, the MODS CAN SEE what users write before their edits, so technically it doesnt matter, its just about mods want to have power, and normal users are not allowed to have that.

Edit: So I am voting yes until mods agree its about power and not about "scamming" risks.

Dozens of suggestions better than this, such as being able to only edit first post for an infinite amount of time.

If people actually followed the rules (no PM trading), then there would not be a possibility for trying to scam and get away with it. Whether they can edit their post or not.
