Idk if this has already been suggested or not, but I think it would be a great idea with no negative side effects to my knowledge.

Basically just like in the guild topic settings where u can give certain users access to changing the settings for the guild chats, these users could also have the ability to add people to a block list
those people on the block list would be unable to post in the guild chat.

This idea is exactly like a the block list on the PM system, just like the PM system, a guild topic that is open to the public means anyone can post or whatever and spam, you should be able to block those who you do not want posting.

This would also save a lot of time for the Mediators that get messaged regarding people spamming the topic, because it could be fixed rather easily by the guild admins with guild powers.

I will agree, this is a great idea. There really should be no reason to close a guild chat due to a child.

yeah exactly what I think, for guild topics i know you can delete posts of spammers and such, but would be much simpler to block them once, and not have to worry about deleting spam posts every 20seconds

as a guild leader ive often wished that there was a block feature

I think this would be very useful, it's a shame that an entire guild chat has to be closed sometimes due to random spammers. I voted yes ofc =)
