Idk if anyone else feels the same way, but I've been using these forums for about two weeks, and already I'm upset with the site's management. I'm filing grievances. Idk what nazi is going around closing topics and suspending people, but these forums should be for the players. I dont understand how this has become instead a venue for someone to exercise jurisdiction. The moderators should spend more time actually responding to calls for a mediator, and less time closing people's threads for giving their threads the bumps they need to compete with other threads. And this system works. If a thread is bumped over and over and still no one has posted an offer (or at least one the topic starter finds reasonable,) than either the goods being sold are undesirable, or the asking price is unreasonable. I'd like there to be at least some democracy on d2jsp, seeing as there are so many people who use these forums exclusively to trade their wares. Please, if you feel the same way, comment on this thread (as sort of a petition.)

Thank you, and to the moderators, I hope you understand that I mean no disrespect.

I'm not sure exactly how to respond to this, but there are rules in place which are enforced to keep the forums clean, organized, and safe for the people trading items or otherwise using the website. People are not suspended without just cause or without breaking the rules which are in place for the aforementioned reasons.
In your post you haven't given any reasoning as to why you think something is out of place or unfair. You need to give something more than an unspecific complaint to get a clear answer or to make a suggestion for changes.

I suggest that if you are unfamiliar with the site rules that you read them here:
Forum Rules
Trade Rules

If you have a specific question why a certain rule is in place feel free to post in general help or PM a moderator.

well i dont believe i know how to PM a moderator. Is there a list somewhere? also, i meant to include that I dont believe in total anarchy, or that the moderators do nothing of value, however it seems a bit much that vouches and free bumps are worthy of closing a topic and suspending users. I also dont see how bumping yourself should be banned. bumping your own threads seems like putting effort into advertising. if you put a certain amount of effort into advertising, you'll sell your goods. of course spam/thread theft/false advertising/scamming/harassment/etc are all things we need the moderators to keep at bay. I'm not dismissing entirely their contribution. but i believe there are rules that do more harm than good, given the policy of enforcement. and i've seen individuals break rules deliberately in order just to get the attention they need (i see people post out-of-context threads in the trade section because they know their topics wont be seen as widely by people in their correct place.) if such is the case, it would seem to suggest that there is a problem with the forums, which is not the fault of the user.
