I was redirected here, covertly, after my inital topic was locked. So I will c/p the original post here.
I just happened to glance over at the scammer forum, because someone involved in a trade with someone else I was involved with, yeah brothers sisters best friends wife... at any rate
Why in the WORLD is this necessary?
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=51024400&f=250&o=0The Moderator is making this guy jump through stupid hoops, in what seems like an attempt to either get him annoyed and quit trying to prove it, or simply give up.
He provided everything asked for. He simple white-ed out private information, and was denied a SS? Am I to provide private information to the public d2jsp forums in order for a scam case to be resolved?
Its seems a bit stupid and "robot" like to me for the person not to take a PERSONAL view of the evidence provided. To be this strict seems to side with the scammers, and support them by making it overly difficult for the scammed to present a case against them. It should be the scame-e's job to present the evidence as he can, in the best format possible, and not be forced into providing sensitive/private information in order to resolve a claim. I honestly just don't understand how this could thread could be looked at as anything more than a support in the scammers favor. Is it always like this when resolving a scam claim? I suppose it doesn't matter what I think, as d2jsp will go on without me, but to allow this to continue seems ludicrous. I suppose I'm just venting and speaking my mind about a system I feel is flawed, never seems to solve the problems, but it feels better. Am I alone?
New post:
I don't really understand d2jsp, and its rules. It seems rather obscenely over moderated. There was absolutely no reason for the topic to be closed for said reason it was engendering a debate on the situation. It feels as if it was closed out of a motivation of censorship, and not for the reason listed. Things continue to compound at this site on the sheer craziness of the entire debacle. My question still stands.
Was/Is it necessary to force this individual through these hoops in order to "prove" a claim? Read the thread, pretend you were the moderator, look at the evidence. Look at the 3 other threads claiming this person was a scammer, add it all up. Do you NEED more data? Do you NEED to see what programs this person had open? I think not.
