Ok so who else thinks that my events is not such a great idea, I know it's been around a while but I am just now realizing how dumb it is. I can't get anyone to ever join my event and even offer on what I need done, but when I make trade threads in the forum I find people fast. Why is it we can't make a post looking for the service we need. Then create the my events-event? It's not like there isn't a ton of spam in most forums so I am really unsure as to why it can't be done this way. Finding a level srvoce for hardcore classic on d2 using my events is not going to happen I guess.

I vote no. I usually find what I need using My events "Most of the time" but not everyone uses it yet. If you really want shit to happen faster, when people are iso this kind of stuff forward them to use My events.
My Events can be pretty handy, if people would actually use it.

And about your Suggestion, you might want to add a poll.

Let's have the price check forum in the same forum too, so we can get price checks faster...
No, this will just be harder to find what you actually are looking for, events was made for a reason, to find the services faster and to actually have the non rated users the possibility to make services / events.
If you make a event, be patient and wait for people to help you. If more people that starts using/finding events in my events, the faster you will get help.

My events is fantastic, because you can make any kind of event (as long it doesn't violate anything or it's illegal), and it's very easy to use and understand.

I vote yes, and anyone who votes no isn't playing D2 or isn't trying to use My Events for D2.

I could:
A: post a "My Event" for a GRush, and leave it up for literally DAYS... it will NEVER fill
B: post a thread for a GRush in the trade forum, and get several PMs within minutes.

Honestly, I'm at the breaking point and will probably start accepting the temporary restrictions and posting my events illegally, because a 30minute suspension is a whole lot better than coming back every hour or so and seeing absolutely no action going on in My Events, KNOWING you could have been done and paid by then.

This is no exaggeration. If we MUST use this garbage feature, then at least let us post the link to the event in the trade forum where people will see it.

This will not make anything harder to find, what a joke. This isn't making services faster to find, this is making them impossible to host. No one on D2 uses this garbage, and now anyone who posts ANYTHING about a service in the trade section is getting their account suspended.

I guess I should "be patient and wait for people". Yeah, i'll just sit around for hours and hours while my event remains empty. Sounds great, when I know it could be filled in minutes if I posted on the forum that people actually browse.

Stopped reading the second I saw this. The rest is irrelevant because it just isn't going to happen: No matter what you think, no matter what you want, no matter what your argument, logic, or reasoning happens to be.
