The event system just seems dumb to me. A few days ago i posted i needed a level job in D2 forum and got banned from the entire site for 15 mins! (i just started playing again after a long time off of jsp and D2) Posting that you needed a level job or rush use to be allowed. Even if i did break the rule is it really necessary to ban for from the entire site? It makes no sense to make people post in the events section because rarely does anyone look there. KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) is something jsp should keep in mind.

Personally im not for the event system and i have heard the same from a few other people since i started playing again just wanted to know what everyone else thinks.

my events prevents people from getting scammed + its easier + less spam

it will not be removed for any reason

just stick with the rules and you wont get suspended, its not really hard

How does it prevent scams? its the same as a normal post in the trade section only its hidden...
Its much more difficult/unnecessary how can anything be simpler then the post i made when i got banned? "I need 31-80 leave price and timeframe"
There are only 4 posts in the my events section i dont think that those 4 posts if moved to the trade section would cause an overflow...
