OK, first off, i know i'm going to get alot of immediate no responses because spam shouldnt even be there and etc etc,

BUT

i believe having one general chat subforum in each of the popular subforum, will cut spam down to a minimum, or even to the point of not existing, my proof?

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=36505453&f=198

anime subforum has one, and there is NO spam whatsoever... it would help out the community of each individual subforum, as the general chat subforum is its own family, just like the call of duty subforum is its own family... we each enjoy our own subforum's members, yet we're being forced to either make spam threads, or to pm 5 different people over and over again, just to have a conversation.

i'll state my reasons in a list :)

1. Cuts down spam(proven in the anime subforum)
2. allows users to chat with the "family" that exists within the subforum
3. users dont use general chat because we usually get flamed and also because none of our familiar people post there
4. easily managable, and will make moderators' jobs easier
5. will increase the happiness of the common jsper :D

if you're going to vote no because spam shouldnt occur anyways it's not what i'm trying to get at

please read through it and decide :)

Yes, just not in the trading-style forums (I assume you didn't mean so, anyway)

It would really work well in the discussion-type forums, though. Good idea.
