Tracked Topics - Note Edit - Bug

When i edit a tracked topic to change the note or expiration date on a entry with multiple lines like:
Step1:

The edit page is:
Step2:
Note that the EOLs, end of lines, have been replaced by html tag<br>
Np, if the conversion works the other way around as well, but the result is:
Step3:

When i replace the <br>'s in step2 with linefeeds i get the result as shown in step1
