The "My Events" section does not allow for any form of advertising, except signatures. Other then the random PM i get for someone needing a grush at 3am when i'm not doing one, or hosting one, is an outrage.
My solution to this problem is to create either an international and/or realm based grounds for all event-related topics.
This would in turn, allow advertising, +more views to current events as they are bumped to the top by a group of 5-6 people looking for 2-3 more players to begin an event, which allows faster and more convenient services.
Publicity is key to make events possible to advertise in threads. Currently, there is no other place to post "legal" services. Trading grounds is only meant for items, which is a problem because it is the only/closest possible area to allow advertising specific to realm/ladder.
Scamming has also been brought to my attention. Scamming has been lowered because of the "my events" section. Which i agree upon but not entirely. It reduces scams because you have to enlist, therefore are bound to the event, which ultimately reduces the amount of time to track down scammers.

Like its said before in this topic u can add the service in ur profile or signature to advertise it as long as it is added with a link to your event topic.


Services are trading, Forum gold for Effort. Level services, Rushing, Muling, Bumpers. All of the previous are Effort trading for Forum Gold. D2Jsp Desperately needs a service grounds with real-time threads, the my events is very confusing and inconvenient/difficult to navigate.
The My Event system does not allow an easier overview, You have to Search/edit/navigate/load pages to find the respectable event you wish you join. Whereas, with a grounds you can overview 50+ threads in one blink of an eye to spot a single event you are looking for, and is currently happening/ready for you.

I hope you consider my proposal and make this happen very soon. I have rambled alot in this thread and apologize. I am only looking to offer services where people can view/join/and begin when needed, not have one person come and wait 2hours for another person to find my service needing 6 people.
If you agree with my points of view, please post a response supporting me.

I accept all responses into my view/opinion of this matter.

More Suggestions are appreciated very much.
I am currently Brainstorming more ideas to fix the "dead" My Events section, for it is a problem.

Bump / Agree.

JSP Staff, just look at the votes. Look at the small usage of My Events compared to the overwhelmingly huge ammount of people who still post it in the Trading Forum.
My Events does not work, it's not real-time like the trade forum is, it's a hassle, it's much easier to get your services in the trading forum.

Only those that don't use it think it's "dead".

The same arguments you pose are the exact same ones others pose about posting EVERYTHING in the trading grounds, including, but not limited to: sig requests, duels, happy birthdays, questions, price checks, etc etc. Ie, your idea is total nonsense.
