Editing your threads prevents double posting, early bumps, spam and confusion amongst your thread
Problem; you only get this option to edit your thread/posts for a short period of time.
Adding a edit function available at all times would save huge trouble.

If you're trying to submit a new suggestion, you should probably follow this guide which includes how to make a Yes/No poll. Otherwise, it's just your opinion without other input.

No, would help scammers and such. Been suggested countless times, too, I don't think it's ever going to happen
