Earlier this happened to me:

(or you can view it in this link http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=45588349&f=169 )

I would like to know why this topic was closed, but I am unable to view which mod closed the thread, and therefore unable to message the mod who closed it.

I am all about accountability and if mods are going to abuse their powers, then they should not have them...

This is my opinion, it will be a way to keep mods accountable. I understand that mods help keep the site flowing smoothly and that some mistakes will be made, and I dont believe one offense should constitute a removal of all mod privelages, but if it becomes a regular accorance, something should be done.

Tell me what you think, it would really help out.

Please post here which way you voted and why.

Regards,
Nick

No matter who closes it, he / she does it for a good reason.
Review your topic to figure out exactly which posts were "spam".
If you still got questions, ask in General Help / PM kindly a trusted / medi / m++ / TA
If you feel the topic was wrongfully closed and you're SURE about it, ask for it to be reopened and..hope

Hidden identity of the person who closed it is made to ensure no flaming will happen.
Voted no sry.

/e i do agree that your topic was wrongfully closed though..maybe it was closed due to a repost instead?

hello, thank you for your opinion

I feel I must clarify a few things, first, you're looking at the whole topic, I created it, one person replied, then it was closed for spam and being posted in the wrong section.
.'. I can say with certainty that it was wrongfully closed. I would like the mod who closed it to have some accountability for it being closed, and possibly for me to be able to pm them and ask them why it was closed.
I've spoken with a few mods about that thread specifically and was told it was wrongfully closed and that if I was "really nice about it" it might get reopened.
I dont feel it should be placed on me to get my legitimate thread reopened. Someone else should be taking the wrap for wrongfully closing it, and they should reopen it as well. If they do it too many times, they shouldn't be modding.
That is what I was trying to get at.

We are not without error so we too make mistakes.
We work as a team and therefor if you think your thread was closed incorrectly, you may pm any team member and we will work to resolve the mistake if in fact there was one.
Edit:
Your thread is reopened.

Thank you for that, although I no longer need that thread :(

I stated before that I understand mistakes will be made, and therefore one offense should not constitute a revoke of privileges that come with being a mod. However someone should be held accountable when it does happen

Out of curiosity, how often do mistakes like this occur?

No good would come out of this. This would only promote people creating threads to insult mods. Knowing what mod closed your thread is useless information. If a mod closed your thread, it's because they had a good reason to. There are way too many young people on this site that would overreact to their threads being closed, even if it's their own fault. Voted no.

It's kind of a cool idea but you can just pm any Trade Mod and they can help you. Not really needed imo.
