I was thinking about the fact that my computer is slow, and cant load more than a few tabs at one time. Also the fact that i have to switch through tabs everytime i hear the little "Bee Doop" Does get kind of annoying. Another reason is that the bar at the bottom has been used multiple times and works great!
If this were to happen I would love it to be something simalar to the bar on the new Myspace page, or the Facebook page. Also when I play on any game that JSP helps advertise and trade for, the second tab slows down my game soooooooooooooo much! So the chat BAR would be a great idea in my opinion!

I think a bar st the bottom of the page is much more likely to slow it, anything that loads in real time on a page slows it greatly to my knowledge

I voted no, I don't think this is needed and I don't think this would help you with your problem of JSP running slowly
