After recent events I got thinking.. When a mod plainly ignores yea.. or you send them a PM about spam, and nothing gets done. There should be some way for people to note when a moderator/trusted/members+ + is slacking, not doing their job, or even showing poor edicit/ no repsect whatever.

Somthing simple like star ratings or the such.. when a mod assists me id also like to note that, that mod was very helpfull friendly ect. So it works both ways, the mods who have earned, helped, done whatever to earn a good rating would get a good user rating and then the general public would know they could go to that mod for help and would know they would get help. This doesnt mean that they arnt already busy and things.. but it would help us users know what meds to pm that will help and what meds are just here.. floating about doing things as they see fit.

Now I understand med/mods/trusteds must have done whatever.. to get their tags.. But why not make sure they are earning the title.. and not just doing as they see fit under the radar.. Let the people decide who is trusted/worth of trust, and who is not.

If a med gets over and voer rated poorly, or good things could be done then.. and when the general public is upset with things and how they went down they can express that without fear of being warned/banned.

Tbh I'm Ecpecting some sort of warn for this.. Even though I feel its a very good idea and i hope ive brought this up in a good way as to not hurt anyone feelings.

Thanks let me know what yea think. If this has been posted in the past.. sorry couldnt find it since theres no track button and i dont live in this forum. simply came here the other day posted and idea.. and got a warn for it. :D so we will try this idea.. see how it goes.

i agree with you 100% with this grim like after what they just did to me i say yea we the users of jsp (the under ranked ppl) should have the right to vote on witch moderator they like so the great ppl of jsp know if they ever have a problem they just know who to ask and know who will do something about it, like no disrespect here to the moderators or anything but like i red the hole thing on how u became one and beleave me seeings you worked hard to get your titles you should live up to the name and not take it to advantage and only help who you want to help. and like i said no disrespect but it is true

No need, if you feel a member of the mod team isn't doing their duty, send a pm to mork - http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=182103
Explain your issue with that particular user and mork will look into it.

An actual rating system that can be used by regular members would be abused to no end. That's why there is no rep button that is so common on alot of message boards.

i feel like this is a good idea at heart but the fact is most people would use this rating system as a joke.. i feel like if there is a med not doing there job there should be someone that we could get a hold of when its a real problem.. many people spend time and money to be on this site for the love of the games we play and when we have a mod or someone that is angry at someone b.c what what they say or do and give someone a warn thats an abuse of power... not saying this has ever happened but if it ever does what do we do? im thinking this has happed before and what are the actions we as a jsp community should take to properly deal with this issue?

both good points to it.. I understand the hate on it.. and i didnt know there was a mod to PM when u feel mistreated.. thats good to know :P they should make it more known.. but im sure he would spend all day.

Was just a thought.. ive seen what i would call a decline in the mods of recently.. especialy in the trade forums. Just a personal opinion of mine.. but yea know..

Figured this idea would let people express in a proper way when they feel unjusted.

Somthing else i thought about, was a like msg board.. on mods profiles where users could post a comment per-say.. maybe not in their profile, but somplace.. where if people where just being dumb.. it could easy be sposted and delt with.. but for legit users with legit problems to post and make their stories heard.

Idk just thoughts. Thanks for the opinions.

I agree, but it would be easily abused, a guy would "want" a warn and just rate 0.
