im tired of having my legit posts pushed to the bottom of the fourm due to ignorant posts like
"what movies should i watch"
or
"so-n-so is a noob"

those posts should warant a "3 strikes and your out" rule such as 1st warning, 2nd warning, 3rd warning tracker followed by suspention and warn%

anyone agree/disagree?

Mods are busy, they are working as hard as they can to keep the forums clear of spam. This has been suggested numerous times, and its not as simple as you make it sound.

well, every day, on east trade, atleast 50 people (the same people every day) ruin the forum with constant spam, if you want i could post 10 links right now, in the top 50, of people spamming with nonsence posts, spam, flame, and rage.
and by doing this, they push legit trade threads to the bottom, its a nusance and needs stiffer punishments. 3 warns (verbal) then a 24 hour vacation + 10% warn would atleast stem 50% of the spam.

I think one of the main problems is that there simply are not enough moderators. Look at the # of users online, then look at the # of moderators online and you'll see my point.

today is a perfect example, i make a legit trade thread...30 seconds later, it is on the 2nd page because 15 kids feel the need to spam 50 threads, and the worst part is...
if the meds DO get around to closing the thread (that is after 20 people post in it, bumping it to the top)

by not punishing spam, you are ALLOWING them to break the rules, and get away with it.
and since this sight generates so much money, the rules NEED to be followed by EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

The worst thing is I completely agree. 100%. There are nowehere near enough mods, and there are only a handful who actually seem to give a shit

But I 100% guaruntee you this topic will be either ignored, unheeded, or locked for "off topic posts". It's always the same.

I gave up trying to change this site and make it better a long time ago - most people just don't want to know. I advise you to do the same. It won't change. The site, the mods, the punishments. Nothing will ever be done about JSP to decrease spam or make the site better.

Put it this way, there are site suggestions that some users have been bumping for 3 years. About 5000 yes votes, and still nothing. No one wants to make this site better, so quite honestly, although your aims are good, you're best focusing your efforts elsewhere
