Ok lets say somebody scammed you for xxxxx fg. and sometimes u end up never getting your fg back. to fix this problem and stop the potential scammer from sending the fg away to another account or spending it, a med should be able to "freeze" their gold. because normally by the time the scammer is convicted, its been a while and the fg is gone. the "freeze" this will make it not possible to send the fg away, so if they really are convicted of the scam, the victim can get their fg back. the "Freeze" tag is not a scammer tag, but a tag that shows that the person is under investigation for a potential scam.
also here are some references:
Scammer Accusation FAQ
(taken from link above)
Q: Will I get my fg back?
A:
d2jsp.org doesn't refund forum gold or items
. Even though we don't refund forum gold there still is a way that you can get paid back. If the user that scammed you would like to get rid of his locked gold
and scammer tag they are required to repay all scams. This happens quite often and when a user that has scammed you goes through this process you will be informed.
^ that red section can be solved with this "freeze" tag.
Also iso a name for the tag. i like Freeze, but any suggestion will be nice
NOTE:
once again, the freeze tag will be put on the potential scammer once the s/a thread is made and
some
of the evidence is shown to show he/she "scammed". this should be done asap to prevent any more damage from being done.
I just now thought of this, and this is my first site suggestion, so if you have some ideas then throw them out there.

no. Too easy for people to make false accusations just to get someone's gold frozen. This has been suggested and denied before.
