When you are viewing any page of a thread, this is at the top:

d2jsp Forums > Trading Grounds > Softcore - USWEST Ladder Trading

It should also be at the bottom, so we can navigate straight back to the forum without having to either A) click 'top', then click forum link... B ) scroll up, then click.... C) press back button on browser, then refresh (annoying if you've been reading multiple pages)

Not needed.
1. You can choose number of topics to be shown for each forum page here: http://forums.d2jsp.org/settings.php?c=0
2. You can use the scroll wheel on your mouse.
3. I believe that there is a "Page Up" and a "Page Down" button on your keyboard.

Home key also works great.
