This forum needs a "Lock Topic" Button beside the 'Add Reply' for the creator of the topic.

The purpose of this would be simply closing a post after it has been finished. Recently I have been getting pm's regarding threads I posted hours, or days ago, and people didnt know the item has been sold, or I had found the item I was looking for. This idea would help get rid of that.

Definitely is, I've also encountered this problem.
Wouldn't be also hard to add it as a feature.

I definitely think this would be useful, however until this gets implemented, to stop the spam you are getting, just do what I do and add a little "/topic" post after all the items have been sold and you are done with the topic etc

But yeah a lock topic button would be so much better and saves an unnessessary bumping of a completed topic

People would still post their offers in an open topic, because that is a legal way to offer their items in more topics without breaking the rules, even if the creator of the topic has all the items they needed / vica versa.

I agree. This suggestion would rid us of that as well.

And since what you posted is the case, it is even more apparent that we need to be able to lock topics
